‘Dragon Ball Z: Revival of F’ Trailer #3 Shows off Frieza’s New Form!

The third official trailer for Dragon Ball Z: Revival of F is out! Take a look!

Following as a direct sequel to the 2013 film Battle of Gods, Dragon Ball Z: Revival of F features the resurrection of Frieza and a seemingly large army of henchmen bent on destroying earth and exacting their revenge on the remainder of the Saiyan’s who inhabit it.

Not much is known in the way of the plot outside the fact that Frieza is resurrected with the Dragon Balls by a couple of cronies named Sorbet and Tagoma, however he becomes a god that resembles an Oscar Award is not entirely known, though the use of the Dragon Balls are suspected.

Looks like Jaco the Galactic Patrolman will also be making his debut appearance in the anime series.

Dragon Ball Z: Revival of F gets its debut as a Japanese-only release on April 18, 2015. No confirmation on the FUNimation dub’s release date at this time.

I prefer Crocs for their style over their comfort.

  1. What’s intriguing here, is that Goku is not only fighting alone (Saiyan pride, no doubt), but doesn’t appear to have transformed into a Super Saiyan at any point in any of the footage we have seen thus far. Wonder if this is a plot point of some kind…

    • At the end of the last God movie, Goku runs out of his “God form” juice and powers down to normal. However, Bills himself states that just reaching Super Sayian God state made Goku’s base that much stronger. Worthy to note is that Goku then resumed fighting Bills with much, much better results than when he fought him in Super Sayian 3 form.

Chances are that, either Goku’s base now surpasses his SSJ3 state and, like Gohan, he no longer needs to use his regular transformations, or Goku’s new power makes him think his base form is enough to fight Freeza. And/or we’ve just been shown deceptively small bits of the movie’s fights.

      • That all makes sense. I could see that. That would imply then that base Super Saiyan form for Goku would be stronger than that of someone who has achieved the standard SS3 form, like Gotenks.

If Goku does go BEYOND a base Super Saiyan, either 2nd grade or SS3, that power would be unfathomable.

  2. Look at the trailer, remember how Frieza was kicking Vegeta’s ass around and even kicked him at one point then Goku showed up. Well the exact opposite happens in the trailer!! I think it’s Vegeta’s time to shine and he’ll be the one to beat Frieza

  3. In the trailer,Gohan turns Super Saiyan. Could this be a sign of Super Mystic Gohan? If so,Would he be as strong as Super Saiyan God? My theory is that he is not that strong because as he got older,he did his studies instead of training. But where is Goten and Trunks? They are no where to be seen in the trailer.
