Thanks to an eagle-eyed internet sleuth, we now know some new details regarding the anticipated release, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.
[dropcap size=small]S[/dropcap]ource coding found on the Call of Duty website reveals that “Call of Duty: Black Ops III is the first title for next-gen hardware in the critically acclaimed Black Ops series.” While it’s likely the game will also be released for PC, it has yet to be announced if the game will make it to the PS3 and Xbox 36o.

In what is being called the “deepest and most ambitious game ever,” Call of Duty: Black Ops III will once again pits players in a world filled with covert warfare, and could include some of the more futuristic elements found in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.
This time around, the story is set in a “dark, twisted future where a new breed of Black Ops soldier emerges and the lines are blurred between our own humanity and the technology we created to stay ahead, in a world where cutting-edge military robotics define warfare.”
It has also be discovered that the ever-popular “Zombie Mode” will return in addition to a Campaign Mode and Multiplayer.
Call of Duty: Black Ops III is due out in the fall, and It’s expected that Activision will release more official details regarding the game on April 26.
