Marvel Movie Rule #1: Never leave the movie theater until all of the credits have rolled.
[dropcap size=small]I[/dropcap]f you’ve seen at least a few Marvel movies by now then you must have realized that every single one always has some sort of hidden scene at the end of the movie after all of the credits have rolled. Some movies, like Avengers, show two hidden post-credit scenes and in the case of Deadpool, this applies as well.
Cinemablend recently caught up with the two writers who brought the merc with a mouth to life and asked them about the dual post-credit scenes and according to Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, only one post-credit scene is actually being shown the movie critics and the other one is being saved for when the movie is actually released to the public.
“They held back one particular, basically a second coda. They wanted to hold it back until February 11th, until the actual official movie is in the movies – so you can tease audiences that there’s two codas and you haven’t seen one of them.”
While no one knows for sure in what order to the two post-credit scenes will show up in, our best guess is that it will be similar to the Avengers, with one scene being shown in the middle of the credits and the last one being shown at the end. So be sure to wait patiently because whatever is being shown at the end of Deadpool is likely either funny, important to future movies, or both!
Deadpool will open up in theaters this coming Friday, February 12th, 2016.
