Though the role might surprise you, James Bond himself will be taking on a villainous role as one of the most deadly foes in all of Star Wars…
During the premier of Man Up in London, Pegg was asked whether or not the rumors of being placed in Episode VII were true, to which he responded,
“I wasn’t a Stormtrooper. Daniel Craig, he was a Stormtrooper. Oops, I shouldn’t have said that…”
While Simon has not officially confirmed or denied whether he will appear in the movie in a different role, it does confirm the earlier rumors that Craig did indeed ask for a secret cameo role of which he would receive no credit for.
Of course, being in a role that of which many will be granted, even more as CGI, it will be rather difficult for fans to try and figure out which one the actor will portray. Then again, it is possible that he could still have a minor speaking role without receiving any acting credit.
