Really? I’ll ask again: really?
[dropcap size=small]I[/dropcap]n an interview with Capital FM, interviewer Roman Kemp put forward the idea of Niall Horan from One Direction being James Bond. Kemp jokingly asked Craig what he thought of there being an Irish boy band James Bond, to which Craig replied he’d be ‘absolutely fabulous.’
It’s okay, we know Craig was just being polite, because can you imagine it? No, neither can I. And frankly, I don’t want to.
Sorry 1D fans, but c’mon.
In the lighthearted interview, Craig also talked about what his thoughts were towards Sam Smith’s Writing’s on the Wall, and how he can look back on the Bond films he’s been a part of with pride.
I heard a rough cut [of Writing’s on the wall], I loved it…he’s got such an incredible voice, and I think the song just fits the movie perfectly…All I’ve ever tried to do with these films is just [to] make the movies as memorable as possible…should I make another one, or not make another one…I’m proud of the four I’ve made, I want people to remember it as a good time for Bond.
So there you have it, Daniel Craig is proud of his stint as 007 (as he should be), and Niall Horan – Craig is willing to go along with the fantasy.
