Back in 2000 a Dungeons and Dragons film was released with everyone wishing it had never been created. Since then the tabletop RPG game has long been viewed as a difficult project to bring to life on the big screen. Luckily, it appears Game Night directors John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein are taking a crack at with this Chris Pine to join.

No casting or plot details are known at this time but what we do know is the directors have finished the script for the film with the help of Michael Gilio.

Dungeons and Dragons is known for its war games, treasure hunts, campaigns, reversals of fortune and back stabbing, all (usually) set in a fantasy world. The game famously uses 20-sided dice in gameplay and is overseen by a host known as the Dungeon Master.

Perhaps we’ll see something similar to the Jumanji reboot? We’ll just have to wait and see.

In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and is widely regarded as a bad move.
