In a surprise announcement this morning, the official Destiny the Game Twitter account shared the news that a crossover is coming in the form of some sweet, sweet cosmetics from a partnership with Ubisoft. Additionally, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will get some Destiny cosmetics and then some in partnership with Monster Hunter developer Capcom.
Prepare to take a leap of faith, Guardians. In partnership with @Ubisoft, worlds are about to collide with brand new cosmetics.

The announcement comes after a leak made the rounds that revealed Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s next update, which comes December 6th, will include cosmetics from the Destiny and Monster Hunter franchises.
In the video below, you can see the likes of Lord Shaxx and Saint-14 among a handful of other cosmetic armor sets coming to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla in less than a week, along with some Destiny-inspired weapons including a sword that resembles the legendary (or should we say ‘Exotic’) rocket launcher, Gjallarhorn.
The video above only shows the cosmetics coming to AC Valhalla in action so we do not know what the armor sets will look like in Destiny 2 beyond what the official Twitter account shared in the promo image.
If you look closely, you can see that all three Guardian classes will be getting Assassin’s Creed-themed armor cosmetics but there was no mention as to whether or not a Monster Hunter crossover was coming to Bungie’s looter shooter. Presumably, from the promo image, the partnership appears to be between Destiny 2 and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla only, while Ubisoft also has a bonus partnership going with Monster Hunter and Capcom.
All of these crossover cosmetic updates will be coming across both games on the same day- December 6th.
