Following the overwhelming success of last year’s ONE PIECE Night at Fenway Park, Toei Animation and the Boston Red Sox are teaming up once again to bring fans another unforgettable experience. The Boston Red Sox X ONE PIECE Theme Day is set for Saturday, May 3, 2025, during the team’s game against the Minnesota Twins.
This event is part of Toei Animation’s newly launched national series of ONE PIECE-themed collaborations with Major League Baseball teams, a direct response to the enthusiastic fan support for the first Fenway Park partnership in 2024. The collaboration will blend the world of baseball with the beloved anime franchise, offering fans exclusive merchandise and immersive activities.

Both Toei Animation and the Boston Red Sox expressed their excitement for the event’s return, emphasizing its significance in uniting baseball and anime enthusiasts. Lisa Yamatoya, Senior Director of Global Marketing for Toei Animation Inc., highlighted the unique appeal of combining ONE PIECE with America’s favorite pastime, promising a truly memorable fan experience.
Travis Pollio, Director of Ticket Strategy and Promotions for the Red Sox, echoed this enthusiasm, noting last year’s success and revealing that the 2025 celebration will feature a custom ONE PIECE Red Sox jersey and hat giveaway. Fans attending the game can look forward to themed activities, including a Cosplay Gathering, ONE PIECE Card Game Demo, and a Meet-and-Greet with Character Mascots.
Tickets for the event are available now at redsox.com/onepiece or the Fenway Park ticket office, with both General Admission and VIP packages offering exclusive collectible merchandise. Given last year’s sold-out attendance, fans are encouraged to act quickly to secure their spot. Meanwhile, excitement for the ONE PIECE franchise continues to grow, with the highly anticipated Egghead arc set to return this spring following a six-month production hiatus.
With 25 years of legacy, 15 feature films, and an ever-expanding universe of video games, trading cards, and merchandise, ONE PIECE remains a cornerstone of global pop culture, and its presence at Fenway Park ensures another thrilling crossover for fans of both baseball and anime.
