There is a lot of fan chatter about the franchise, as of late, with developer Gearbox going pretty intensely at social media teasers for their games. PAX East promises to be full of, if nothing else, a lot of Borderlands content with the possibility of a new IP, and rumors of a Borderlands re-master and the Handsome Collection coming to the Nintendo Switch. We will find out more about this tomorrow, of course, so for now we will just dissect this teaser trailer a little bit.
Hidden within the trailer, Reddit users found Braille and Morse code among other secrets that led to hidden messages such as ‘Count the Sirens’ (of which there are 3), and a SHiFT Code for Borderlands 2 and the Pre-Sequel. On Reddit, /user/RedditictCumberbatch was able to piece together details of the hidden messages along with the help of various other users on the /r/Borderlands3 subreddit.

The code contains a Salvador Skin, 5 golden keys, with mention of new skins to come.

From 0:15 to 0:26, Morse Code at the top-left says “COUNT THE SIRENS.”

0:05 – The new villain; she has angel wings like Sirens are usually depicted with.
