And still no release date...

Exactly one year ago, developer Game Science shared a trailer for Black Myth: Wukong, an incredible-looking action RPG with mythical themes. Using Unreal Engine 5, Black Myth: Wukong‘s gameplay absolutely blew us away back then. Now, one year later, we are once again in awe after seeing new gameplay in 4K with Nvidia’s RTX Ray Tracing and DLSS technologies.

Have a look:

In Black Myth: Wukong, The player takes control of the Monkey King, Sun Wukong, as the character takes on enemies and learns new abilities inspired by “16th-century traditional Chinese folklore” and Journey to the West. The game’s difficulty is described as being similar to Dark Souls, so expect that it will be relatively hard and fairly unforgiving when you make a mistake.

Game Science has said that the game is coming to PC with plans to bring it to consoles at some point although this is subject to change. Based on their comments and given the use of Nvidia’s advanced lighting and visual technology, we feel like consoles may struggle a bit to keep up with the PC version.

At the current time, no release date has been provided but last we heard, Game Science was aiming for a 2023 release for both PC and consoles. However, the closer we get to 2023 the less likely that seems.
