Showtime gives us a sneak peek of what it takes to get Billie Piper all dolled up as Lily for season 2 of Penny Dreadful.
[dropcap size=small]B[/dropcap]illie Piper’s character, Brona, death last season on Penny Dreadful seemed a little rushed, and fans knew that this wasn’t going to be the last time we saw her. No one would have guessed that she would have come back so dolled up and blonde.
Costume designer, Gabriella Pescucci, played around with Lily’s look, and since the character is not of Victorian London, the costumes give a slightly otherworldly and childlike quality to her.
With addition to the video clip shown above, Showtime has also released Billie Piper’s character poster for season 2.
