This next installment will take us back into World War I!
[dropcap size=small]O[/dropcap]ne week from today, DICE will introduce the next installment in the Battlefield series at a “world premiere event.”
The game will be unveiled to guests at the event, but there will also be a global livestream of the event. The network that will stream the event is unclear, but it will start at 1pm PT/4pm PT/9pm PST.
Unlike recent Battlefield games, Battlefield 5 will not be set in the modern day era, but back in WWI. I personally like that DICE is changing up the Battlefield franchise by setting this next game in WWI. This way, it doesn’t feel completely like a cash grab and it’s something different. It makes sense because the one of the first games was set back in 1943, so to incorporate WWI in the franchise makes the game series that much more appealing to not only gamers, but to those collectors that want to collect all of the games.
