To be fair, he is the only Australian in the MCU right now.
While everyone is stoked for the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War film, it is important to point out that several actors like Chris Hemsworth no longer have a contract with Marvel when it comes to portraying their iconic characters after Avengers 4. With that said, it appears that the Australian actor wishes to keep making millions of dollars (can you really blame him?) and is interested in the idea of a Thor film where the famous Wolverine teams up with the God of Thunder.
“I mean, Wolverine, just because I love that character, you know what I mean? I just love Hugh Jackman. Unfortunately, he died in the last movie, didn’t he? We can bring him back to life. Now that you’ve informed me that it’s a possibility I’m going to get on the one phone and try to coax him over or convince him and see if he has one more in him.”
The idea of Hugh Jackman coming back to play Wolverine is definitely exciting and in the final Wolverine film he is quite old so technically you could have Wolverine appear in another Marvel film. Or the new Jean Grey could bring him back to life with her Phoenix powers, the possibilities are endless! After all, who wouldn’t want to see Thor go toe-to-toe with hundreds of minions with Wolverine by his side? The odds are pretty small, but who knows. This is the God of Thunder after all.
