Michael Fassbender dons the double hidden blades in these new set photos!
Fox graced the world today with new set photos from the upcoming Assassin’s Creed film, and they look epic. Take a look for yourself below:
Starring Michael Fassbender (Magneto in X-Men), Marion Cotillard (The Dark Knight Rises, Inception), Michael K. Williams (“The Wire,” Paul Feig’s upcoming Ghostbusters), Jeremy Irons (“The Borgias”) and Brendon Gleeson (Edge of Tomorrow), and directed by Justin Kurrzel (Macbeth).
This video game to film adaptation follows the story of a character named Callum Lynch who figures out a way to unlock and channel his genetic memories, allowing him to experience the life of his ancestor Aguilar back in 15th century Spain. He discovers his descendant was part of a secret organization called “The Assassins” and gains incredible knowledge and abilities so he can fight against the tyrannical and powerful “Templars” in the present day.
Assassin’s Creed will hit theaters on December 21, 2016.
