MOVIEGOERS, ASSEMBLE! Wait, for how long?
Do you have what it takes to sit through 24+ hours of Marvel films in one go? AMC has the challenge for you.
Currently, there are 10 existing films within the canon Marvel Cinematic Universe (including the Incredible Hulk starring Edward Norton), and AMC has them all set in chronological order for you and whoever else is up to the task of sitting through all of them, leading up to the finale of Avengers: Age of Ultron.
The event takes place on Wednesday, April 29 at 6:00pm leading into the next day where all of the films will be shown before the 7:00pm release of Age of Ultron on April 30. Though the problem exists of having to take a day or two off of work to even do this, the bigger issue is that most movie and comic book fans would be exhausted after watching 24+ hours of movies just to get to the one they are looking forward to most. Take a look at the planned lineup below:

What is unusual about the website where you are supposed to be able to buy tickets in advance, is that at this time there are no AMC Theaters set to be showing this marathon of Marvel flicks. Additionally, it does not tell you when or how you can buy tickets, or what theaters are going to be participating at all. On top of that, the 6:00pm showing of Iron Man does not state whether the time is set for PST or CMT (we assume PST to line up with east coast times).
While we are excited about the idea of how fun or exhausting this could be, the unfortunate thing is that it takes place on a Wednesday, and not later in the week allowing the times to overlap into the weekend. Unless we unintentionally missed some important piece of AMC’s information regarding the event, this will just have to be something we intentionally miss before we go and see Age of Ultron on its own come midnight that day.
Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron is the 11th film within their rapidly expanding MCU. The film is directed by Joss Whedon and will be release May 1, 2015.
PS: Then of course there is all of Phase 3 we have to look forward to:
