Power Rangers has gone through multiple generations in the past two decades, but to those who grew up with the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers series, nobody was more badass than the Green Ranger. Jason David Frank, the man with three first names, has made multiple appearances in several reiterations of the series, from Power Rangers: Zeo to Power Rangers: Dino Thunder. After the announcement of a new Mighty Morphin Power Rangers movie, it has been in question if the original cast would be returning to reprise their roles.
In a recent interview, Tommy (that’s right, I called him Tommy) spoke out on his interests in working on the new movie.
“The fans loved the Green Ranger. If it was my choice to come back for the film, it would have to be some kind of cool karate stuff that I could still pull off.”
I don’t think there’s a single person who would NOT want to see Jason David Frank don the green spandex once more. If you disagree, you’re stupid and your opinion is not valid. I realize that I’m fanboying hard, but how can you not? Although his involvement has not yet been set in stone, it’s safe to say that he’ll be working on the movie in some shape or form.
