Mighty Morphin Power Rangers x Fortnite Revealed in an Epic Live-Action Trailer

The only thing left to say is… It’s Morphin’ Time!

Well, it finally happened. After years of rumors, cryptic leaks, and Fortnite players making Power Rangers mock-up skins in creative mode while muttering “Soon…” to themselves, Epic Games has finally confirmed the hugely anticipated Mighty Morphin Power Rangers collab. And they didn’t just slap a blog post on it—they went full Saturday morning nostalgia bomb with a live-action trailer.

Welcome to Chapter 6, Season 4: “Shock ’N Awesome”
The trailer showcased the Red, Yellow, and Blue Rangers kicking ass in proper tokusatsu fashion but don’t worry, all five OG Rangers—Black, Pink, Blue, Yellow, and Red—will be in the Item Shop individually, and as part of a bundle. Said bundle includes:

  • Each Ranger’s signature weapon as a pickaxe (finally, you can whack people with the Power Axe in Fortnite).
  • Power Coin back blings for that “my armor comes from a tiny magic poker chip” look.
  • Various emotes that we can only pray include the full theme song.

But Here’s Where It Gets Legendary
The reveal’s mic-drop moment wasn’t that the Rangers will be in the shop—it was Tommy Oliver’s Green & White Rangers skins are both showing up in the Battle Pass. On the 13th page (around Level 90-ish, give or take) you get the Green Ranger, and on the final page, at Level 100, you unlock his White Ranger variant like the glorious, karate-chopping glow-up it is. The Green Ranger’s pickaxe is the Dragon Dagger (which, yes, turns into the White Ranger’s Saba sword with the variant).

Zords? Just a Couple
For the first time, the Megazord is joining Fortnite as a bonus track skin. No, you can’t pilot it (yet), but you can definitely ruin someone’s day dressed as a skyscraper-sized robot. Rumor has it, its pickaxe will be the Power Sword, which feels like the only correct answer. Meanwhile, the White TigerZord becomes the first Zord to get a dedicated glider, ensuring your drop-in looks like an opening credits sequence. However, none of the other Rangers’ Zords are getting the glider treatment yet, that we know of.

The Megazord’s Bonus Track opens up on September 16th.

The Future is Morphin
Epic hasn’t confirmed if this is a one-and-done deal, but whispers suggest a second wave might bring the bad guys—Rita Repulsa, Lord Zedd, Goldar, and even the Putties—into the fight. Imagine getting your Victory Royale while cosplaying as Lord Zedd. That’s the dream.

If this keeps up, we might be lucky enough to see Zeo, Turbo, or In Space Rangers in future seasons. And if Epic really wants our money (spoiler: they do), they’ll let us summon the Dragonzord mid-match. Until then, the only thing left to say is… It’s Morphin’ Time!
