Joss Whedon’s Firefly has had, somewhat, of a cult following since its release in late 2002. The show was short-lived, but definitely not short-loved. Does that make sense? Well, too bad. It makes sense to me.
At this year’s San Diego Comic Con, there was an announcement trailer for an upcoming Firefly Online game. The trailer showcases its first gameplay footage in, what has been described as, a strategic online RPG. There is also word that the original cast have their hands all over this. Hot. While we don’t know much about the game yet, we do know that Firefly fans are one step closer to getting another season.
Firefly Online is coming soon as a joint PC and mobile game.
