Battlefield V Now on Sale for $30 at Target

EA’s latest shooter joins Bethesda’s Fallout 76 as the next game to drop steeply in price.

Despite being released just over a week ago, EA and DICE’s latest and highly anticipated Battlefield V is now on sale for just $30 at Target. Although the sale only applies to the console versions of the game (Xbox One and PlayStation 4) the deal lasts until tomorrow, Thursday, November 29. If your a PC gamer, don’t worry. Battlefield V, which will be sold in a steelbook case, is on sale for just $42 at Best Buy for both PC and consoles versions of the game.

The reason behind Battlefield V‘s sudden drop in price, albeit for a short time, remains unclear. Despite receiving glowing reviews from many sites and YouTubers (yikes, but that’s a story for another time), the game has had it’s fair share of criticism. The game was criticised by fans due to the one-armed woman being one of the main protagonists during a WWII shooter and the CEO telling the fanbase “If you don’t like it, don’t buy the game.” That said, the lead game developer went on record to point out that the one-armed woman was a cosmetic look and not the character’s actual look in game.

Battlefield V is now available on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
