This just might be the best news you’ll read all day.
Good news: Red Dead Redemption 2 finally has a release date. The bad news: we’re going to have to wait a long ass time to get our hands on it. But, with that said, Rockstar Games did apologize for such a long wait and released a few screenshots as well. Check them out below!
As you can see from the photos above, Red Dead Redemption 2 looks like an incredibly visually stunning game. On top of that, it looks like it may be one of the largest open world RPGs for both Xbox and the PlayStation. While we don’t have any news on whether or not the game will have a massive difference in graphics depending on if you own a PlayStation 4 Pro/Xbox One Elite versus a PlayStation 4/Xbox One, Rockstar Games did leave a heartfelt apology for the delay.
“Dear All,
We are excited to announce that Red Dead Redemption 2 will be released on October 26th 2018. We apologize to everyone disappointed by this delay. While we had hoped to have the game out sooner, we require a little extra time for polish.
We sincerely thank you for your patience and hope that when you get to play the game, you will agree the wait will have been worth it. In the meantime, please check out these screenshots from the game. We look forward to sharing a lot more information with you in the coming weeks.
With thanks,
Rockstar Games”
