To celebrate its 25th Anniversary, Yu Yu Hakusho will see a fresh new Blu Ray boxed set that will include never before seen animation.

Over the weekend, an attendee of the Jump Festa event snapped a photo of a banner that revealed the news before posting to Twitter, as seen above.
Details are scarce on just what this new material will be, whether a continuation of the series of sorts or an OVA that isn’t canon. It isn’t even known what length or form it will come in, though anything new is good enough for me (Yu Yu Hakusho is my favorite anime series of all time).
Hopefully more information will be provided this week, in which case we will update the article as necessary.
