It’s about damn time, Blizzard. It only took you 15 years to do it.
[dropcap size=small]L[/dropcap]ast month Blizzard Entertainment’s incredibly popular RTS Warcraft III turned 15 years old. As a gift to the game’s dedicated fanbase, Blizzard is rolling out a Public Test Realm (PTR) for the game. With the release of the Public Test Realm Blizzard is tweaking the game’s balance and including map alterations in a new test environment for players.
The updates in the Public Test Realm has increased resource allocation, balanced creep camps during the early game phase, and several map alterations have been included for aesthetic purposes. Blizzard also plans on making more changes to the game stating, “We are aware Warcaft III matchmaking is a bit long in the tusk. We will be improving matchmaker logic for a future patch.” Good things come to those who wait, right?
