Spider-Man literally drops-in on some unexpecting Starbuck’s customers in this well-done promo prank.
Spider-Man: Homecoming is less than a month from releasing in theaters, and the promotional opportunities have been around every corner. In this latest bit, SONY setup a unique experience for some simple customers who were just out for a cold brew, where they never would’ve expected who might swing by. Oh, and of course there is a gratuitous cameo from one Mr Stan Lee.
Cameras were setup all around this Starbucks with a stuntman who literally came down from the ceiling just behind some unexpecting customers while picking up their orders. The stuntman, dressed in Spider-Man’s Stark-made costumer from Civil War/Homecoming, engaged customers with photo ops just after giving them an insane surprise shock. Hey, it’s not every day you get a tap on the shoulder and see Spider-Man hanging from a ceiling looking to pick up a drink he ordered.
Even Spider-Man co-creator Stan Lee couldn’t resist snapping a few photos of the iconic comic hero!
Spider-Man: Homecoming swings into theaters on July 7. The film stars Tom Holland, Michael Keaton, and Robert Downey Jr.
