With the recent news about a new Mighty Morphin Power Rangers movie in the works and the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie coming out next month, I was reminded of a time when the two pop culture phenomena joined forces.
Sure it was the Space Rangers and not the original Power Rangers (or the original Turtles for that matter), but it was still cool to see them working side by side. I mean, did you even know that there was a long-lost female Ninja Turtle named Venus (de Milo)?
I couldn’t find the full episode anywhere except for Amazon, which you have to pay for. However, I was able to find a few clips on YouTube of when the two groups first meet and when they part ways. If you haven’t seen this episode before, or even if you’re just a little curious as to how this mashup would look, these clips are worth checking out.
