Who’s ready to “shred some boards” once more!
[dropcap size=small]T[/dropcap]here were many fans of the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater series who were not pleased by the most recent entry, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5. It debuted with mostly negative reviews among critics and consumers alike.
While the future of the series is in question the skating god himself, Tony Hawk, has made it clear in a recent interview with Jenkem Magazine that he is not done being involved with video games but he is done with Activision.
“Not from Activision. I’m potentially working on something but it’s so early I couldn’t talk about it. I don’t have any contracts signed but it’s exciting. I feel like it’s with the right people so I should know more in the next couple months.”
With no Activision involvement it is unclear if Tony Hawk is taking the Pro Skater franchise with him or if there will be a new series. It will interesting to see what happens in the next couple months.
