Who’s ready for some mummies!
[dropcap size=small]U[/dropcap]niversal Pictures recently released the trailer and poster for their upcoming movie The Mummy. If you have not seen the trailer or poster you can view them below.

The trailer has some intense action scenes in it and sets up a pretty interesting plot. Keep in mind that this is also the first movie the Universal Monster Cinematic Universe that will include Dracula, the Wolfman, Frankenstein, and other classic monsters.
It will be interesting to see if The Mummy will follow the path of the first Iron Man for how it sets up the UMCU, with small references to other characters or if the plot will revolve around setting up the UMCU. Either way, keeping our eyes peeled for post-credit scenes will probably be in our best interests.
The Mummy is set to be released in theaters on June 9, 2017.
