As cliché as it sounds some people are worth waiting for.
[dropcap size=small]T[/dropcap]he United Kingdom has been responsible for creating some of the best things known to mankind. The Beatles, Sherlock, whiskey, and Doctor Who are definitely some great examples. Hell, without the U.K. we wouldn’t have around 1,700 words that are commonly used in the English language today (you can thank Shakespeare for that) and of course we can’t forget tea. Nevertheless, if there is one thing we can thank those lovely people across the pond for it is some of the best actors we have ever known and Benedict Cumberbatch is certainly one of them.
It appears that Marvel was so set on acquiring Benedict Cumberbatch as the mystical Doctor Strange that they pushed the release date for the film back a whole season. The film originally had a release date of summer 2016 but when Benedict Cumberbatch agreed to be a part of the production for Hamlet Marvel decided that one of Britain’s best actors was worth waiting for and so the release date was pushed back to this late fall.
Of course, Marvel could have chosen another actor to take on the role of Doctor Strange but let’s be honest with ourselves here, could anyone possibly be a better Doctor Strange than Benedict Cumberbatch himself? Probably not.
Doctor Strange magically appears in theaters on November 4th, 2016.
