It should be a whale, or in this case shark, of a time.
[dropcap size=small]W[/dropcap]arner bros newest shark thriller, Meg, has landed two big stars in Ruby Rose and Jason Statham for the film. There is no word yet on what roles they will play, but they should both be playing prevalent roles considering their track records.
Meg will be the big screen adaptation of the Steve Alten best-selling novel of the same name. Meg follows a scientist named Jonas Taylor who discovers a large prehistoric shark, Meg, during a deep sea dive. Taylor must then try to kill Meg before it can surface and wreak havoc on the surface world.
Jon Turteltaub (National Treasure) will be directing the film with James Vanderbilt (The Amazing Spiderman) writing the film.
Meg is scheduled for release on March 2, 2018.
