Titanfall 2 gets a release window
[dropcap size=small]F[/dropcap]ans have been looking forward to any news regarding the much anticipated: Titanfall 2. A release window has finally been announced by EA CEO Andrew Wilson. A “fiscal Q3” window has been confirmed, which in layman’s terms simply means anywhere from October to December
It’s interesting to note that the release date is similar to that of Battlefield 1, another heavily anticipated game published by EA. Publishers will usually space out major releases, but according to Wilson, there isn’t much of a need to because each of their games cater to a specific group of gamers.
“There’s a very broad and diverse set of players who play games in that category who are looking to fulfill different gameplay motivations. Some people play very quick-play, or something with more strategic play. Some people want both in different contexts.”
Ea released a teaser trailer for Titanfall 2 last month. The trailer features a sword-wielding Titan, it’s exciting to speculate how a sword mechanic will be implemented in the game. It’s safe to say that Respawn Entertainment will be going all out for the highly anticipated sequel. A single player campaign has even been confirmed, something that it’s predecessor lacked.
Come on back as we’ll keep you updated on any developments regarding Titanfall 2!
