Is a sequel to Shadow of Mordor in the works at Monolith Productions?

[dropcap size=small]W[/dropcap]hen Shadow of Mordor was released by Monolith Productions back in 2013 it was the pride and joy of the company. The majority of critics said the game was excellent and while the developer never actually received the Tolkien family’s blessing to incorporate the game into the actual Lord of the Rings universe, the game did very well. That being said, it would make sense for Monolith Productions to release a sequel to Shadow of Mordor and according to people over at Nerd Leaks they think they have found proof that a sequel is on the way for this year’s E3.

When most people think of stunt doubles they generally think of those badass people who do crazy stunts in action films so that the high paying actors don’t get hurt or killed. However, what a lot of people don’t know is that stunt doubles also do a lot of work in the gaming industry. A lot of the crazy assassinations that take place in Assassin’s Creed were performed first by stunt doubles wearing special gear before being actually transferred into the game itself. One such stunt double, Lauren Mary Kim, is one of the most popular and active stunt doubles involved in creating these scenes.

On Lauren Mary Kim’s stunt double website Nerd Leaks found Shadow of Mordor 2 listed in the last line of Motion Capture section. However, since Nerd Leaks first published this information it would seem that Lauren Mary Kim’s agent made sure to remove the listing of Shadow of Mordor 2 from the Motion Capture section, probably due to a request made by Monolith Productions to keep things quiet before E3. While we can’t be one hundred percent certain that Monolith Productions is gearing up to release a sequel, we can say that the idea of returning to Middle Earth once again is something every Lord of the Rings fan just can’t wait to do.

In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and is widely regarded as a bad move.
