The Witcher 3 Swords Forged into Reality
[dropcap size=small]S[/dropcap]wordsmiths and mechanics, as well as brothers, Matt and Kerry Stagmer of the Baltimore Knife and Sword Company recreate iconic weapons and armor from popular video games and movies. After numerous requests to create the swords from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, the brothers took their special crafts and talents to the grindstone, literally, and the outcome is astounding.
The Stagmer brothers document the task of creating the two iconic silver and steel swords that Geralt, the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s protagonist character, wields. The video explains the two different processes used by the Stagmer brothers in their recreations, one being forging (with steel), the other being machine cut (with silver). After creating these swords, who wouldn’t want to play with them? Watermelons, pool noodles, mannequins, and fish beware – these swords are not only works of art, but are fully functioning weapons!
Although MAN AT ARMS REFORGED is essentially a how-to documentary, it is highly advised that you do not try this at home!
