Constantine fans will get a glimpse of Matt Ryan in the upcoming season of Arrow, where John Constantine will make an appearance.
Matt Ryan’s John Constantine will be hitting the television screen once again coming this fall. It may not be for the return of the Constantine television show that fans had wanted, but he will return in another television show, Arrow.
Matt Ryan played the main character of the DC Comics inspired TV show for a short period of one season this past year. However fans will get a glimpse of Constantine once again in an episode of the fourth season of the hit show Arrow. Constantine’s character struggles with the sins of his past and must overcome them when he is suddenly thrown into a situation where he must defend humanity from various villains. It has been confirmed that in the fifth episode of the fourth season of Arrow, titled Haunted, Ryan’s Constantine character will make an appearance.
The CW has claimed that Oliver (Stephen Amell) will utilize Constantine’s talents in order to overcome something that he cannot do alone. Constantine will bring a great new dynamic to the TV show and the executive producer claimed that it would be a “tip of the hat to all the Constantine fans who were so incredibly supportive of the series.” Amell had recently admitted that he would like to guest star on Constantine if it were to receive a second season. Unfortunately after 13 episodes in the first season, the NBC show Constantine was cancelled in May of this year. Matt Ryan tweeted a video about his excitement in joining the Arrow cast for the upcoming season.
