The Sons of Anarchy alum will guest star as the DC villain.
The new Supergirl television series will air on CBS this fall, and in the meantime, guest stars and cameos are slowly being announced. One such guest star is Chris Browning, who will appear as the villanous Reactron for the upcoming show.
Browning is perhaps best known for his role as Gogo on Sons of Anarchy, and more recently as Jake Griffin on The 100.
While not as well known as Brainiac or Lex Luthor, Reactron has been a staple Superman villain since the early 80’s. His true identity, Ben Krullen, was a sergeant serving in Vietnam before an accident caused him to transform into a being capable of generating radioactive energy. Thus, his powers allow him to shoot radioactive blasts of energy from his hands. Sure, he’s got a goofy name, but at least his powers are cool.

Supergirl stars Melissa Benoist as Kara Zor-El, the cousin of Superman. She has been hiding her superpowers on earth for years, but she has now decided to use them to keep peace and bring justice.
Even though Supergirl currently has no ties to the DC Cinematic Universe, or The CW shows either, hopefully it will be able to stand on its own as a fun and thrilling superhero show.
Supergirl premieres Monday, Oct. 26 on CBS.
