As other studios head in a darker direction with their properties, Kevin Feige assures us that Marvel will not.
[dropcap size=small]I[/dropcap]n a recent Q&A session after a showing of Avengers: Age of Ultron, Joss Whedon and Kevin Feige gave the audience some much appreciated clarity on the future of the MCU.
When addressing concerns around the possibility of upcoming films taking a turn for the dark, Feige took it upon himself to assure everyone that there will be no significant dark turns in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and that he “hoped people would catch on by now.”
He also went on to say that the humor is in the DNA of the movies, and there are no plans to change that.
Redditor JonLuca was kind enough to compile all of the major topics of discussion from the Q&A which include clarity around a certain character’s potential return, the thought process behind post-credit scenes, how strong Scarlet Witch truly is, the fate of a favorite scene that didn’t make it into the final cut of Avengers: Age of Ultron, and plenty of other cool stuff.
