J. J. Abrams and producer Kathleen Kennedy want to open up this year’s Star Wars Celebration “in a big way.”
Collider reports that their way of doing so involves unveiling the first poster for the film and its first theatrical trailer.
[dropcap size=small]S[/dropcap]tar Wars Celebration is a gigantic gathering of all things Star Wars that takes place in Anaheim, California April 16-19. There will be autograph sessions, cosplayers, panel interviews, and now the premiere of the new trailer and poster for the next film in the franchise.
If you love Star Wars and can make it out to Anaheim next week, it sounds like this year’s convention is the one to go to. It’s the perfect setting and we can think of no one more deserving than the diehard fans in attendance getting that first glimpse.

We know that the new trailer is also set to play in front of Avengers: Age of Ultron, however, the burning question on everyone’s mind is will we see it make it’s way online beforehand? Hopefully Disney doesn’t make us wait too long.
