[dropcap size=small]A[/dropcap] live-action trailer has been released for the upcoming multiplayer first-person shooter Evolve, which is developed by Turtle Rock Studios and published by 2K Games. Check out the trailer below complete with a haunting cover of “Ready or Not” originally recorded by 90’s R&B group The Fugees.

The trailer is extremely engaging and sets up the premise of the game very well. And just in case it left anything to question, the game’s YouTube channel gives a nice description:
“In the ultimate game of hide and seek, a group of four set out together to hunt down their friend. But before they can catch him, he evolves into something they could never expect. Hunt together. Kill alone. Choose your side.”
Evolve was originally set to be released in October of last year but had its release date pushed backed to February 10. The game will be released for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
Set in the future on the distant planet Shear, Evolve allows users to play as a team of four Hunters whose primary goal is to hunt and kill a Monster, who can be controlled by a fifth player. The Monster is the victor if the player kills all four Hunters or completes a secondary task such as destroying a camp of humans. Users will even have their choice of Monster (Goliath, Kraken, Behemoth, and Wraith) to hunt down the human Hunters.
