Dave Coulier, who starred in ABC’s Full House, confirms that he will appear in Netflix’s Fuller House.
[dropcap size=small]E[/dropcap]veryone’s favorite uncle is returning to Netflix’s Fuller House, a reboot of ABC’s famous sitcom Full House. Dave Coulier announced his return on Instagram and Twitter with a photo of himself and Mark Cendrowski that said, “Yes, I’ll be on the Fuller House reunion. And this guy, Mark Cendrowski will be directing. #cutitout” Netflix and Warner Bros Television announced this past April that they will be making a thirteen episode long season of Fuller House.
Fuller House will debut sometime in 2016 on Netflix and it will follow D.J., played by Candace Bure, a newly widowed mother of thwo. D.J. will team up with her fellow single mom and friend Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber) and younger sister Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) to help raise her family. Although Dave Coulier said, “I will be on the Fuller House reunion”, Candace Bure insisted that Fuller House is not a reunion at all. “It’s definitely a fresh take,” she told Today‘s Tamron Hall on May 5. “We’re not doing the old show; it’s not a reunion. It’s a spin-off show.”
Coulier, Bure, Barber, and John Stamos are to begin filming the sequel this summer. At this time, the rest of the cast from Full House have yet to confirm their role in Fuller House.
