If you’ve ever wanted to dance with a life-sized Tony Tony Chopper while holding a free trading card in one hand and a rum cocktail in the other, congratulations—your anime fever dream is finally becoming a reality. IGN and Toei Animation are joining forces to host a ONE PIECE-themed After Party during San Diego Comic-Con 2025, and it sounds like the kind of bash where even Kaido would RSVP “hell yes.”

The party drops anchor Friday, July 25 at the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego, aka the place where every SDCC afterparty that isn’t a total embarrassment happens. This one’s officially titled the “IGN San Diego Comic-Con 2025 After Party Presented by ONE PIECE”, because that name is almost as long as Luffy’s bounty. The event promises a live DJ, exclusive giveaways, over-the-top photo ops, live mascots, and—most importantly—a guest appearance by Colleen Clinkenbeard, the voice of Luffy in the English dub and, therefore, anime royalty.

But don’t think you can just toss a few Berries at the door and walk in. Tickets can’t be bought. Nope, they’re locked behind a giveaway system that requires either online entry through IGN or a pilgrimage to Toei’s ONE PIECE booth (#3635) at the convention itself. Which is both mysterious and appropriately anime. Just remember: booze will be flowing, so you’ll need to be 21+ to qualify. Sorry, Chopper.

This epic shindig is just one slice of a much larger five-day ONE PIECE takeover of Comic-Con. It all kicks off Wednesday, July 23 with Preview Night, where the booth will be open and giving out adorable Tony Tony Chopper pins while slinging Card Game merch like it’s Grand Line contraband.

Then, on Thursday, July 24, Toei’s really going for that Gear Second energy with the ONE PIECE Egghead Arc Part-2 Dub World Premiere in Ballroom 20. Episodes 1123 and 1124 will screen in English for the first time ever, with Clinkenbeard herself there to usher in the Vegapunk era. Oh, and everyone in attendance gets a souvenir Vegapunk crown—because nothing says “I watched history unfold” like free wearable cardboard shaped like a mad scientist’s ego.

So whether you’re a longtime Straw Hat superfan or just someone looking for an excuse to drink rum in cosplay, this might be the biggest ONE PIECE party on land—no Eternal Pose required.
