Ezra “can’t wait” to race Grant Gustin in the Speed Force.
[dropcap size=small]U[/dropcap]p until Batman v Superman, Grant Gustin who appears in The CW’s The Flash as Barry Allen was the most popular Scarlet Speedster. Now that Ezra Miller has appeared in Batman v Superman, Suicide Squad, and a Justice League trailer it would appear that the actor is gaining steady ground on Grant Gustin’s fanbase. Rather than fight for the title of the most popular Flash, Ezra Miller seems absolutely thrilled that he landed the role as Barry Allen in the DC Extended Universe. But now that there are two Barry Allens, is it possible for a crossover? Ezra Miller seems to think so, or at least, he has hinted at the idea of a crossover.
In a recent interview with MTV, Ezra Miller talked about all things Flash-related. The actor believes that actress Kiersey Clemons (Dope) is the perfect person for the role of Iris West and the actor claims that the two of them have great on screen chemistry. With the DCEU’s record of having rocky, unstable movies that don’t hold up to the hype created by their trailers this is good news for everyone.
Meanwhile, Ezra Miller has quite possibly created the biggest hype possible by hinting in his interview with MTV that either himself and Grant Gustin’s Flash could meet one another at some point in the movie, or do a crossover that could appear in an episode of The CW’s The Flash.
“He’s a boss. I can’t wait to see him, eye to eye, adrift in the Speed Force — our eyes will lock and, in that moment, we will both know the truth. What truth? I dare not say.”
Fingers crossed Ezra Miller, fingers crossed.
Justice League hits theaters November 17th of next year.
