This week we have singing animals, a body swap, and two men on a mission to save Paris.

Sing

The only way to make singing competitions more entertaining is to replace all the people with goofy, animated animals. Sing centers around a koala named Buster Moon, voiced by Matthew McConaughey, who runs a theater that is losing business. After his best friend Eddie, voiced by John C. Reilly, gives him an idea to help get more people to come to the theater, Buster announces that he is holding a singing competition where the winner gets a prize of $100,000. The result is the whole city coming out to show their talent and try and win the money.

Sing stars Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon, Seth MacFarlane, Tori Kelly, John C. Reilly, Taron Egerton, and Scarlett Johansson and hits theaters December 21st.

Criminal

What happens when the CIA operative who knows all the information about the bad guys diabolical plot just so happens to be killed? Well you put his memories, skills, and secrets into the brain of a former death row inmate silly! Jericho Stewart is a talented but not so nice guy. So when a bunch of CIA agents show up and tell him that they put a good amount of one of their agent’s memories inside his head, he doesn’t take it to lightly. But regardless of how he was in the past, he needs to change his ways if he is to stop the enemy.

Criminal stars Kevin Costner, Gary Oldman, Tommy Lee Jones, Alice Eve, Gal Gadot, Michael Pitt, Jordi Mollà, Antje Traue, Scott Adkins, and Amaury Nolasco and hits theaters April 15th.

Bastille Day

When an excellent pickpocket accidentally steals a bag that contains a bomb, he is immediately hunted down by the CIA. But when Sean Briar, the CIA agent sent to capture him, realizes that the pickpocket, named Michael Mason, wasn’t the one who planted the bomb, the two must team up to find the people who are actually responsible. The only problem is that this is all taking place on Bastille Day, which makes their jobs a whole lot harder.

Bastille Day stars Idris Elba, Richard Madden, Charlotte Le Bon, Eriq Ebouaney, and José Garcia and releases in theaters March 16th.
