Hoechlin (Teen Wolf) was cast as the Man of Steel earlier this summer, and has been confirmed to have a reoccurring role in the series, which will now air on The CW instead of CBS.
“Greg [Berlanti] and I have wanted to work with Tyler for ages, so this worked out perfectly because Tyler is Superman,” explained Supergirl Executive Producer Andrew Kreisberg in press release to DC Comics. “We are so thrilled and humbled to add another amazing actor to the legacy of this iconic character.”
Similar to Supergirl’s, this is one of the best DC suits yet. It’s bold like Henry Cavill’s in Man of Steel, while still classy, with the iconic S insignia prominently displayed.
With an awesome look, we can’t wait to finally see Kal-El team up with Kara Zor-El.
Supergirl season two comes to The CW on October 10.
