Resident Evil fans rejoice! A television series based on the video game franchise is in development.

[dropcap size=small]A[/dropcap]ccording to sources, Mance Media is working on a television series that somewhat strays away from the horror genre that Resident Evil is associated with and instead focusing on a detective crime drama. Mance Media’s main pitch states the main character will be Detective James Reinhardt, who sets out to solve mysterious homicides and ultimately discover one terrifyingly dark secret.
