Quantum Break, the Xbox One exclusive IP by Alan Wake and Max Payne developers Remedy, was notably absent from this year’s E3. Sam Lake, Remedy director, did take to the internet earlier this year to promise us a big reveal at this year’s Gamescom. Boy, did he deliver.
After only getting glimpses of the game at last year’s E3 and VGX shows, Remedy took to the stage during Microsoft’s press event in Germany this morning to show off close to ten minutes of Quantum Break gameplay. In this morning’s demo we get a decent glimpse at the time bending abilities of protagonist Jack Joyce. What we don’t see, however, is how this will all tie into the narrative television episodes that are included as part of the game. No release date has been announced for Quantum Break.
