After 11 years the Powerpuff Girls are back!
[dropcap size=small]T[/dropcap]he Powerpuff Girls is returning to TV after being off the air since 2005. The original show ran from 1998-2005 on Cartoon Network but it was announced that the show would be coming back as a reboot. There will be new voices for the characters but it will still be the same girls: Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup we all know and love.

In the first clip it shows Buttercup confronting a new villain who wants to shut down the hippie-carnival and get Townsville back to its “manly roots.” Of course Buttercup would take offense to someone referring to her as a “princess” and lays down a Robbie Lawler-like beatdown.
The Powerpuff Girls is set to release in 2016 on Cartoon Network.
