AMC Networks has announced that Season 3 of OSHI NO KO will begin streaming on HIDIVE this month as part of its Winter 2026 simulcast lineup (though no specific date has been given. This ensures that viewers across the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand can all experience the same psychic damage at roughly the same time.
Adapted from the award-winning seinen manga by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari, OSHI NO KO famously debuted on HIDIVE in April 2023 and immediately chose violence against the concept of “casual viewing.” The series became an overnight sensation with both fans and critics, earning praise from outlets like ScreenRant, IGN, CBR, and ComicBook.com, while also shooting straight to the top of MyAnimeList’s fan rankings, where it politely sat at Number One judging everyone else.

Season 3 picks up six months after the release of “POP IN 2,” a timeframe chosen specifically to ensure that no character is emotionally okay anymore. Thanks to MEMcho’s tireless hustle, B-Komachi is finally brushing up against mainstream success, while Aqua continues stacking skills like he’s trying to speedrun the entertainment industry. Akane advances toward becoming a respected actress, Kana quietly loses the cheerful spark that once defined her, and Ruby climbs the industry ladder with a smile that increasingly suggests she is running on spite, secrets, and carefully weaponized lies. Meanwhile, the mystery surrounding the deaths of Ai and Gorou refuses to stay buried, because this franchise does not believe in closure.
The original OSHI NO KO manga concluded on November 14, 2024, in Shueisha’s Young Jump Comics, giving readers just enough time to emotionally recover before the anime adaptation decided to continue anyway. The series is directed by Daisuke Hiramaki, with series composition by Jin Tanaka and animation production handled by Doga Kobo, a studio clearly comfortable animating smiles that absolutely cannot be trusted.
Season 3 once again features Takeo Otsuka as Aqua, Yurie Ikoma as Ruby, Megumi Han as Kana Arima, Manaka Iwami as Akane Kurokawa, and Rumi Okubo as MEMcho, all returning to ensure that every monologue, glance, and industry metaphor lands exactly where it hurts most. Episode scheduling details will be announced soon, presumably right after HIDIVE confirms how many therapy sessions are included with a subscription.
