Netflix confirms that this show is not going anywhere!
[dropcap size=small]N[/dropcap]etflix Originals has been a huge hit for TV fans and one of their most successful shows just got a huge extension! The streaming site extended Orange is the New Black for 3 more seasons (not including season 4).
The show is produced by Lionsgate and created by Jenji Kohan. The show has been a huge hit since 2013 and has won numerous Emmys and Golden Globes in it’s first 3 seasons. The creator commented on the news of the extension.
“Three more years! Not quite a political term, but still plenty of time to do some interesting things,” said Kohan in a press release. “In some cultures, ‘May you lead an interesting life,’ is a curse, but I don’t live in those cultures.” We shall see where the story goes when season four premieres June 17th on Netflix.
