Konami announced on Thursday that MGS 5: Ground Zeroes is getting an official price drop. If you’re looking for a digital copy, you can buy the game for $20 on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. The digital copy for Xbox One and Playstation 4 will still be priced at $30. Also, a PC version of the game that will support 4K resolution is set to launch on Steam sometime in December.
While there has been some criticism over the length of the latest MGS installment (which makes this price drop more enticing), it has been wildly popular, selling over 1 million copies since its release. For those of you unfamiliar with the game, Ground Zeroes is the prologue to Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain, set to launch on Xbox One and PS4 with a PC version in development, but in Ground Zeroes you are placed in 1975 tasked with the infiltration of prison base Camp Omega.
