New Set Photos From ‘Suicide Squad’ Show Off The Batmobile and More

Batman himself has already been spotted on the set of Suicide Squad, now it’s the Batmobile’s time to shine.

[dropcap size=small]N[/dropcap]ot many details are known about Suicide Squad aside from its constantly growing star-power packed cast, the fact that most of them will be playing DC villains, Jared Leto’s take on The Joker is going to be unlike anything we’ve seen before, and that Ben Affleck’s Batman will be making a special guest appearance.

Now thanks to some new set photos and videos, we know that the new Batmobile from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is also set to make its way into the mix. In a car chase scene against The Joker and Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn in a purple Lamborghini no less.

Also seen on set were some soldiers alongside Will Smith looking like a badass as Deadshot.

Suicide Squad also stars Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Karen Fukuhara as Katana, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc, Jay Hernandez as El DIablo, Adam Beach as Slipknot, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, as well as unknown roles for Ike Barinholtz, Scott Eastwood, Raymond Olubowale, Alex Meraz, Jim Parrack, and Common.

In rumor news, Ed Harris and Jackie Earle Haley are going to be the latest actors getting added to the roster. Warner Bros. and DC are really going all out on this one, and from what little we’ve seen so far, we can’t say that we aren’t intrigued.

Once shooting in Toronto wraps up in September, David Ayer’s Suicide Squad is set to release August 5, 2016.

I was born, I pooped myself a bunch, I cried, took my first step, and then at the young age of eight my dad showed me a little film by the name of Pulp Fiction. My mind was blown. From that moment I learned to appreciate film on another level. To put it simply, I love movies.
