Ark: Survival Evolved is a new open world survival game that pits the player against a huge world filled with giant killer reptiles.
[dropcap size=small]T[/dropcap]he developer of Ark: Survival Evolved, Wildcard Studios announced the project on May 11th with the first look at the game being the trailer below.
Ark is a first person, open world shooter that looks incredible. It has rideable dinosaurs, exploring, hunting, and a futuristic looking story intertwined with the prehistoric monsters. The trailer shows off the expansive environments, the different types of combat mechanics, and the different creatures that can be encountered. Wildcard says that the game will be “one of the most ambitious hardcore large-scale survival experiences ever devised.” An in development version of the game is slated for release in June on Steam. The full game will be released on PC in June of 2016 but a release date for consoles is unknown at this moment.
