Spidey’s coming home.

It’s looks like we finally know the title of the upcoming Spider-Man reboot film that will take place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

BBC News has uncovered a URL domain name created by Sony Pictures called “SpiderManHomecomingTheMovie.com.”

Based on how specific this URL is, and considering that prior Sony films like Skyfall had their titles leaked in this manner, expect the reboot to be called Spider-Man: Homecoming.

We think this is a well-fitting title. Homecoming not only alludes to a run of the comic series which features Marvel characters like Iron Man and Captain America, but also this may indeed be a literal homecoming for Spider-Man, as his film’s will now be guided by Marvel Studios. Plus, we won’t be surprised if Peter Parker going to a Homecoming dance is a plot line.

Spider-Man will appear in Captain America: Civil War thanks to a licensing agreement between Disney/Marvel and Sony. After this, will appear in his own reboot film, directed by Jon Watts (Cop Car), and written by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley (Vacation).

The film will star Tom Holland as Peter Parker/ Spider-Man, Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, and Zandaya as a new character named Michelle.

The reboot film’s title has yet to be officially confirmed, but we’d be more than happy with Homecoming. Welcome to the MCU, Spidey.

Sony and Marvel’s Spider-Man film hits theaters on July 7, 2017.
